As part of my Packaging Design (ART 4033) class, we were tasked to take poorly translated imported packages from foreign countries and redesign them so that they could appeal to and sell to the US market. This includes meeting all legal FDA standards and protocols. My chosen client originates in Vietnam and can be found in Asian supermarkets in the candy aisle alongside other hard candies. The intended audience for these coconut candies is young children to mid-teens or young adults who are looking to satisfy their sweet tooth at an affordable price.  Coconut candy made to look sweeter!
